saya kembali akan berbagi sesuatu, namun yg satu ini berbeda, saya malah akan berbagi games :/?
heheh tapi tenang ini game bukan sekedar melatih ketangkasan seperti game-game biasa.

Namanya parampaa, Game yang populer dimainkan saat ini di indonesia. Game ini tidak kalah menariknya dengan game Angry Bird yang terkenal di dunia. Juga sama-sama membuat stress waktu memainkannya. Saya sendiri baru mengetahui game ini dari seorang temanku. Tak berapa lama game ini menyebar dan sangat populer di tempat saya menimbah ilmu.

Game Quiz Paramapaa adalah game buatan anak negeri yang bernama Ova. Cek di blog pribadinya. Game parampaa terinspirasi dari The Impossible Quiz buatan Splapp-me-Do aka Glenn Rhodes. Namun game ini bukan sekedar game yang bisa dimainkan dengan mulus karena butuh memutar otak untuk bisa melewati level demi level.

Mulanya, Parampaa adalah tokoh kartun ciptaan Ova yang dibuat menjadi smiley (a.k senyum), seperti onion head dan tuzki. Ova memilih warna hijau karena jarang digunakan. Maka jadilah tokoh Parampaa yang berwarna hijau. Nama Parampaa sendiri itu berasal dari keponakan Ova yang memanggil Ova dengan sebutan Mas Ova. Karena kesulitan dalam menyebutkan Mas Ova, keponakannya malah memanggil Ova dengan sebutan Paempa atau Maempa. Dari situlah namanya dimodifikasi menjadi Parampaa.

Membuat game merupakan salah satu tugas Ova saat kuliah. Suatu hari, Ova iseng-iseng membongkar isi harddisk, tanpa sengaja dia menemukan game yang pernah dibuatnya. Akhirnya Ova mencoba meneruskan membuat game tersebut dan menambahkan tokoh Parampaa serta unsur-unsur yang menyebalkan lainnya.

Dalam pembuatan game, 1 soal rata-rata memakan waktu 5-10 menit dan biasanya Ova membuat storyboard-nya terlebih dahulu. Ova mengaku, dia mengerjakan game ini sesuka hati. Ia mengerjakannya pada waktu senggang saja. Pembuatan Quiz Parampaa 1 memakan waktu seminggu. Selang tak berapa lama Ova juga membuat Quiz Parampaa 2 yang tidak kalah menyebalkan.

Sebenarnya dia tidak berniat untuk menyebar game menjengkelkan itu karena suatu alasan. Berikut adalah jawaban langsung Ova yang saya kutip langsung dari blognya (www.mustova.com) kenapa tidak berniat menyebarkan:

a. Bukan game original.

Ova sadar, dan Ova jelas-jelas mengakui kalau Quiz Parampaa terinspirasi dan diadaptasi dari The Impossible Quiz bikinan Mr Glenn Rhodes aka Splapp-me-do. Beberapa bentuk pertanyaan dan puzzle di QP identik dengan TIQ; Ova merubah kalimat dan mengubahnya jadi lebih lokal. Banyak yang mengatakan plagiat, atau menjiplak, atau membajak. Biasa, Ova hargai pendapat orang yang menjunjung tinggi orisinalitas suatu karya. Well, faktanya, Ova sudah dapat izin tertulis dari Mr Splapp untuk membuat versi ‘lokal’ dari The Impossible Quiz. Namun, untuk menghargai creator aselinya, tentu saja Ova mencantumkan namanya di halaman Credits.

b. Ova nggak pede.

Quiz Parampaa Ova bikin dengan Flash 8 yang masih memakai Actionscript 2.0. Dalam artian, udah jauh ketinggalan zaman. Desain dan visual di dalamnya sangat sederhana, tanpa 3D ataupun efek-efek yang canggih yang menawan. Sound-effectnya pun dapat gratis dari situs2 penyedia sfx seperti flashkit.com. Ketika Ova memainkan game itu sendiri pun Ova mikir; “Game apaan nih!! Wagu banget.”. Ova hanya menyebarkan secara terbatas kepada handai taulan; sodara-sodara dekat. Melalui facebook, milis dan twitter. Satu dua orang memainkan dan berkata “Game ngeselin!”. “Nyebelin!” dan yang semacamnya. Karena memang hanya sekedar iseng, QP tidak menjadi fokus perhatian Ova. Ternyata eh ternyata, ada seseorang yang memposting dan men-share link Quiz Parampaa di forum terbesar di Indonesia; Kaskus. Oh, boy!!

Apa yang terjadi? Traffic blog Ova ini; yang biasanya hanya 1-3 gelintir orang pembaca –menanjak drastis menjadi 65-an. Akibatnya, hanya tempo 2 hari blog Ova ini pun modyar.
